The low temperature tonight is supposed to be 30 degrees. This means it is finally time to give up on the still blooming nasturtiums that attract and feed all the bees. The flowers can be ripped out of the garden to make room for a good cover crop. It is hard to believe that it is already time to be making these preparations for putting the garden to bed. Soon winter will bring snow, and this gardener can get on with the winter business of rest, relaxation, and a bit of sewing as well.
