The blog author went to their local hardware store with the intent to just look at the plants and flowers. At their arrival came across a sale for boxwood, cutting the price down by 50%. Normally, this person does not spend any extra money unless absolutely necessary. After much convincing and realizing buying them like this than doing it themselves would save years of work; they bought the plants. The blog author began work immediately! They started by creating the perfect hedge for their garden. They worked on the main garden as well. The garden will be filled with tall annuals in the back of the hedge and shorter annuals in front. The garden will be finished in a couple of years, but it seems worth it in the long run.
